Checking-in books is easy using the SR2. Simply read the barcode with the attached scanner, then slide the book to resensitize the security tag. Everything is done in one pass, making check-in faster and reducing strain on the librarian’s wrists.

A high speed, long range barcode scanner is included. The scanner sits in an attached, movable cradle. Other scanners can also be attached to the SR2.

The resensitizer works on electromagnetic (EM) security tags, such as "Tattle Tale" or equivalent tags. It is compatible with 3M and 3M-equivalent systems. Built in sensors automatically turn the resensitizer on when a book is present, and off otherwise.

The SR2 has a sturdy steel housing. Lights show what the SR2 is doing, and you turn the audible beep on/off with a switch.
