What problem does it solve?
Some patients are unable to signal nurses when they need help. These include paralysis victims, vocal cord patients and limited lung capacity patients. Tilt Alarm calls the nurse for them.
What does it do?
Tilt alarm knows when the sensor is tilted. When it detects tilt, it will sound an alarm.
How does this benefit me?
Nurses can better take care of their patients
Is it easy to use?
Yes. On most models there is only an on/off switch. If the sensor is built into the control box, there is also a tilt adjust.
How would I use it?
Attach the sensor to the patient with tape. Attach the box elsewhere, e.g., a wheelchair arm. Turn the unit on. Now anytime the patient wants help, they tilt the sensor to sound the alarm.
Any added benefits?
When needed, the 9V battery is easily replaced.
